General Checklist

When it comes to organizing our office manual in a way that is usable for our team members, checklists are the most fundamental tool. You could say the checklist is the backbone for how we do most everything in the office. Below you’ll find a sample of our general checklist. This checklist is mostly for the clinical team and hangs in our sterilization room. We actually have two laminated checklists hanging side-by-side. One is for the current month and the other is for the previous month to be used as a reference for the date when certain items were last completed.

You’ll notice there are many highlighted links throughout the document. If there is a manual topic related to any of these tasks, the team member can go to that page with one click.

Individual team member tasks and assigned zones are also listed.

At the end of the month a photo is taken of the checklist and archived. This is a recurring task assigned on Trello – see the image below.
